Hyperanalysis of Gokey's Singout

While watching Danny Gokey's singout last night, I caught a couple Kradam gems that I'd like to share.

First is during You Are so Beautiful. Check at -1:45 in the embedded video. Are Adam and Kris... holding hands? It's hard to tell from the quality and I wish I had this DVR'd so I could go back and check on a bigger set. Further analysis is required!

Second is Simon's infamous "ding-dong" comment. At -0:15 we can see and hear Adam and Kris laugh, but watch Kris' face for the next five seconds. As he looks at Adam, he suddenly looks like he's gonna lose his shit. Like he knew Adam was gonna make some horrible innuendo and Kris is thinking, "If you don't want me to have a melt down on this stage, you BETTER keep it to yourself...!"

The ding-dong comment reaction was funny. They were both like WTF?

And they weren't holding hands in the HQ video, but they were one-arm hugging first!

That expression Kris gives in regards to the ding-dong thing, I feel it was more of an "oh Simon, you weirdo," as opposed to an "Adam, I know what you're thinking..." But hell, it was freaking cute all the same! <33 Kris.

I noticed so many Kradam moments during Katy's performance! At one point both Adam and Kris were clapping and dancing, while Danny and Ryan were standing perfectly still. It just made me laugh. And this one's not really a hidden gem, but I loved the look Kris gave Adam right before Ryan announced Kris was safe. Adam didn't see him looking, but it was adorable. He just turned and looked right up at him (he had to tilt his head since he was standing so close) and... well, yeah. I can't wait for next Tuesday! :)

My favourite bit is when Danny sings "Your love will make a grown man cry" and they cut to Paula crying.

Adam pretty much blurts out "oh shit" when they call his name .. I love how happy he is, you can hear him just chuckling in relief right before they show danny's video. And lil Pockey Idol just launches himself right at Danny :P so cute .. I want a kris allen hug SOOO bad :D

I don't think they were holding hands, but it did look like they had a side-hug and were swaying with the music!

I could swear that after Adam makes it into the top 2, and he hugs Danny, you can hear Danny say "you're not a faggot." Can anyone else hear that?

i turned up the volume and listened again, it did sound like he said it, or he might've said, "you're gonna make it"

Wow, I thought I was crazy when I picked up that word. "Gonna make it" is a lot more palatable. I'm going to have to give it a re-listen.

I just watched that moment on my parents' gigantic HDTV and... Adam and Kris have their arms around each other when the shot starts - Adam's hand is on Kris' shoulder and Kris' arm is around Adam's waist. Then when the camera starts to zoom in, they drop their arms and just stand next to each other.

Take that for what you will. :D
